Nancy L. Lee

Nancy L. Lee Nancy L. Lee, age 74, of Manhattan, died September 10, 2019 at her home in Manhattan.
She was born on February 22, 1945 in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph and Laura (Merrill) Fulton. She was a lifelong Kansas resident.

On June 8, 1962 in Junction City, she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Lee. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2004.

Nancy was an entrepreneur and owned Animal House Pets for many years. She also worked at Hobby Lobby in Manhattan. Nancy enjoyed reading, puzzle games, crocheting, making jeweler, crafting, bird watching and taking a drive and exploring country roads.

In addition to her husband, she also was preceded in death by her mother, Laura M. Smith, her father, Joseph F. Fulton DVM, and her step-father, Harold W. Smith.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Lee, of Tulsa, Deborah Lee, of Manhattan, Marc Lee (Lori) of Wichita, and Shanon Lee of Manhattan. Also her grandchildren, TJ Lee (Anne), of Derby, Matt Lee, of Ogden, Astin Rodriguez (Xanare) of Kansas City, Jessica Lee, of Manhattan, and Claudia Lee, of Wichita; her great-grandchildren, Joey Lee and Hunter Lee; and her siblings, Janet Alexander, of Porterville, CA, Doug Fulton (Cheri), of Summerdale, AL, Kevin Fulton, of Litchfield, NE; her step-sisters, Carol Johnson, of Phoenix, AZ and Sherry Bowers (Steve), of Bellvue, CO; and also she will be missed by her beloved dog Mozzy.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 21, 2019 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel, with Father Gale Hammerschmidt officiating. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter or to Homecare and Hospice Inc. Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
