Wes T. Overturf

Wes T. Overturf Wesley Thomas “Wes” Overturf, age 35, of Manhattan, died June 26, 2019.

He was born April 4, 1984, in Mena, Arkansas, the son of Wesley Ray Overturf and Tammy Lynn Peters.

Wes graduated from Manhattan High School in 2002.

He started working construction immediately following high school graduation and had a passion for the work that he did. For the last 7 years, he had worked for Fox Home Innovations, most recently serving as Director of Production. He also bartended part-time at Willie’s Hideout in St. George.

Wes was extremely passionate about the people close to him and he was well known as the guy that was always having fun and trying to bring a smile to the face of everyone around him. In his free time, he enjoyed playing guitar, growing his awesome beard and spending time with his family and friends.

On October 1, 2005, in Manhattan, he was married to Erin Dawn Hunter. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include his two children: Austyn and Peyton of the home; his parents: Tamara Joyce and her husband Bob of Manhattan, and Ray Overturf of Hot Springs, Arkansas; five siblings: Eric Prockish of Manhattan, Justin Joyce of Topeka, Kansas and Madison Trudo (Lane) of Macon, Georgia, Cathy Kordsmeier of Conway, Arkansas, Shawn Overturf of Mena, Arkansas, mother-in-law Sheryl Siegle (Vickey) of Manhattan; father-in-law Jerry Hunter of Manhattan; Step-Father, Jerry Prockish of Manhattan; grandparents: Eileen Prockish of Manhattan; numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and his Fox Home family. Wes was preceded in death by grandparents: Anna Janette Schnell, Thomas E Peters and Norman Prockish.

Cremation is planned with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 1st, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be at the Lake Elbo Clubhouse on July 12th, 2019 at 6pm.
