Pat Milligan

Pat Milligan Pat Milligan, age 68, died on Monday March 25, 2019 at his residence in Manhattan.

He was born on August 24, 1950 in Garden City, Kansas. The son of Harold E. & Sybil A. (Burres) Milligan. Pat graduated from Manhattan High School 1968 and also attended Kansas State University. He worked in construction until his retirement, most recently for Central Mechanical Construction Co.

On April 15, 1978, he was united in marriage to Mindy Learned in Manhattan. This union was blessed with three sons: Daniel, Patrick, and Thomas. He truly lived his life for his wife and his sons.

Pat was also a longtime member of the First Christian Church. He spent many years as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. His faith was very strong and a major part of his life.

Pat was a motorcycle enthusiast all of his life and enjoyed many trips all over the country with Mindy & friends. Pat was well known as a lifelong friend, and was still close with friends from his youth. They took vacations together & kept in close contact. He was a very loyal friend and a Good Samaritan that would help strangers without hesitation. He was a Cub Master for Pack 273 and Assistant Scout Master for Troop 223 while his sons were in scouts. He truly led by example with everything he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Mike Milligan

Survivors include his wife: Mindy of the home; Daniel and Patrick (Jr.) Milligan of Manhattan and Thomas Milligan of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by a grandson: Jackson Kent Milligan and a cousin: Dalene Gary of Sacramento, CA, along with many other family members and many friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas with Rev. Ben Duerfeldt officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Tuesday April 2, 2019 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel Keating Foundation in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
