Alan Dusin

Alan Dusin Alan Dusin, age 56, of Manhattan, died Friday August 31, 2018 at his home in Manhattan.

He was born on May 18, 1962 in St. Marys, Kansas the son of Larry and Orletha Kruger. Orletha and Larry were later divorced. Orletha married Edward Dusin and Alan was adopted by Edward. Alan and his family moved to Manhattan. He graduated from Manhattan High School with the class of 1980.

On July 1, 1990 at the First United Methodist Church in Manhattan, he was united in marriage to Wanda Craney. She survives at their home.
Alan worked many jobs during his life but was particularly proud of his event coordinating business---TLC Trading Post

He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to fish, be in his garden or just to mow the yard. Alan loved to bowl and was in a bowling league for many years, he also had fun playing pool. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the USBC.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Kruger and his step-father, Edward August Dusin.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by his children: Vanessa Dusin and Wesley Dusin, of Manhattan; his mother, Orletha Dusin, of Manhattan; his step-sister, Jana Brandt and his step-brother, Danny Kruger, both of Michigan; and also his half-sister, Mary Harris, of Manhattan.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday September 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel in Manhattan.

Memorial Funds are suggested to or to Accord Hospice. The Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
