Alice Marie Gereau

Alice Marie Gereau Alice Marie Gereau passed away August 11th at the age of 75. Alice was born on December 4, 1942, to the late Edward and Anna (Lux) Eichman.

Alice graduated from Flush High School in 1960. She attended St. Mary’s College in Leavenworth for one year. She then returned to Manhattan and worked for Charlson and Wilson Abstractors, retiring after 43 years.

She was married to Edward Gereau on June 13, 1964, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Flush. He survives of the home. From this union two children were born: Kate Bolton and her husband Tom of Manhattan, and Lisa Terhaar and her husband Bill of St. George. Other survivors include four grandchildren: Skylar King, Sam King (fiancée’ Rachel), Jackson Terhaar and Ellie Terhaar; one sister Margaret Hunt (Leon) of Peyton, CO; two brothers: James Eichman (Mildred) of Flush, Emil Eichman (Carol) of Flush; and sister in law Carol Ann Eichman of Flush; and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers Edward and Delbert Eichman.

Alice loved spending time with her family, friends, gardening, karaoke, and traveling many places with their camper.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 18th, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel with Father Frank Coady officiating. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in the St. Joseph Cemetery at Flush.
