Scott Harold Roberts

Scott Harold Roberts Scott Harold Roberts, age 57, of Westmoreland, Kansas joined his savior Saturday March 2 at the Westmoreland Community Care home.

He was born May 18, 1960 in Westmoreland, KS, the son of Charles Edward, and Marilyn Lou Roberts, both of Westmoreland, KS.

Scott graduated from Westmoreland High School in 1979 and afterwards held part-time jobs; but it was very difficult for him to work around his disabilities of Parkinson and a constant struggle with his Bi polar disease.

His one true love was driving around in his car. People say he always had a kind/respectful word for anyone, especially the ladies. And years later, he had clear recognition of every person he met. He always amazed us with his fabulous memory. Whenever he and his brother, Lynn, would get together they would reminisce lines from their favorite movies—like Dumb and Dumber.

Scott loved to fish and he did so faithfully until he was unable to drive or take care of himself. He was always there for any job that he could handle like caring for his brothers dog, or helping out with his sisters 3 children while she worked.
Scott is survived by his older sister, Kristi Payne of Ogden KS; her 3 children, Brandy Popley, (husband Keith and their two children from Anchorage AK) Gerin Roberts, and fiancé Daniel Herrmann, of Fresno, CA; Kogan Roberts (wife Amber, their one child of San Antonio, TX.) and brother Lynn Roberts (his wife Jean (Beier) Roberts of Manhattan, KS)

He will be missed by many. If you ever met Scott you would know he was a man with a huge loving heart.

Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Friday March 9, 2018 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Avenue. Inurnment of the ashes will be at a later date in the Westmoreland Cemetery, Westmoreland, Kansas.
