Robert "Rob" C. Wall

Robert Robert C. Wall, age 60 of Manhattan, died Saturday January 20, 2018 at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, after an extended illness.

Rob was born on May 26, 1957 in Alva, Oklahoma, the son of George and Margaret (Hardgrove) Wall. He graduated from Hays High School in 1975 and earn his Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing from Fort Hays State University in May of 1981.

Rob married Marqueleta Allen in October of 1981. They have two children, Travis and his wife Melissa, of Ogden, Kansas and his daughter Catherine of the home in Manhattan; also his grandchildren: Brantley and Braxton of Ogden. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret, his sister Darcy Wall, and his Aunt Peggy Hitt; his in-laws, Alvin and Lena May Allen; his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Judy Allen, and also his many cousins, family and friends.

Rob was preceded in death by his father.

Rob worked for the last 16 years at the Stanion Wholesale Electric in Manhattan, as the warehouse manager and in sales. He also previously worked for Pumpco Wholesale, Pumps of Kansas, and Nova Boats.

He was a member of the College Avenue United Methodist Church in Manhattan. He served as an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 74, also he was a past master of the Hays Lodge #195 Kansas Free Masons A.F. & A.M. , and obtained Degree of Chevalier of Frank S. Land Chapter Order of DeMolay of Hays, Kansas.

The family will greet friends during a visitation from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Friday January 26, 2018 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 27, 2018 at the College Avenue United Methodist Church, 1609 College Avenue in Manhattan, with Rev. Dennis Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow the service.

Memorial contributions in memory of Rob may be made to the Robert Wall Memorial Fund. Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
