Jacquelyn M. "Jackie" Winkelman

Jacquelyn M. Jacquelyn M. “Jackie” Winkelman, age 57, of Leonardville, Kansas, died July 19, 2017, at her home in Leonardville.

Jackie was born on August 20, 1959, in Marion, Indiana and was the daughter of Jack H. and Nancy I. (Lakin) Knott. She graduated from the Gladstone High School in Azusa, California.

Jackie had been a Manhattan area resident for the past 30 years where she was a homemaker. In addition to being a loving homemaker she also loved animals, especially her numerous dogs and cats.

On April 15, 1984, in Covina, California she was united in marriage to Jesse J. Rogers. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2002. Jackie was also preceded in death by her parents and by one grandson: Austin Quick.

On February 25, 2005, in Manhattan, Kansas she was united in marriage to Jay Winkelman, and he survives of their home. Other survivors include her two daughters: Sheila Sisco (Eric), Middleton, WI; Chrystal Dodge (Stephen), Wamego, KS; and one son: Jesse Rogers of Leonardville, KS. She is also survived by her brother: Mike Knott (Edith) of Anaheim, CA; and by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Cremation is planned with private family memorial services to be held at a later date.
