Kennith D. Snyder

Kennith D. Snyder Kennith Duane Snyder, age 61, of Manhattan, died Tuesday July 4, 2017 at the Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.

He was born on February 3, 1956 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, the son of William K. and Edna V. Snyder. He grew up in Junction City and graduated from Junction City High with the class of 1974. Kennith attended Manhattan Vo-Tech and earned his degree as an electrician.

Kennith worked for different companies in the area as a journeyman master electrician. He did many projects for the City of Manhattan and Kansas State University and also on Fort Riley.

He always was tinkering and working on old cars. Kennith loved to always have a project to keep him busy outside of work. He would help his friends and family any time. He could build or fix anything. He was a caring person and always wanted to help others as much as he could.

On October 28, 1978 in Manhattan, he was united in marriage to Kathy Plummer. She preceded him in death on September 25, 2015.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Snyder and his wife Ginny of Kansas City, Missouri and his son David and his wife Emily of Valley Center, Kansas; his grandson, Jackson Snyder; his mother Edna Snyder of Junction City, Kansas; his sister Kim Snyder of Winona, Minnesota; and his other family and friends.

Private Services will be held at a later date.
