Craig and his family moved from Ellsworth to Manhattan in 1995. He worked for Cashco Inc. in Ellsworth and then in Manhattan he worked for GTM and then for MANKO Windows until 2015. He was a member of the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Manhattan.

He loved to cheer on his Kansas State Wildcats, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals. Craig liked to argue the calls made by the officials during the games that were against his teams. He used to umpire in his younger days and he still knew all the rules and was always correct on the calls during the game.
