Dianna Fay Kingslien Dianna Fay Kingslien age 64, of Manhattan, KS died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan after her short but vicious struggle with Cancer.

Dianna was born on April 20, 1953, to Billy and Margaret Minson in Kingman, AZ.

She graduated from Watertown High School in 1971 and then received her LPN nurse’s training at Watertown Area Vocation School. Dianna was married to Gene Kingslien on August 18, 1973. As a military wife from 1974 to 1994, she enjoyed the opportunity to make lifelong friendships and travel with her husband and children. Dianna started working in Manhattan as a nurse at the Riley County Health Department and continued to make a difference and touch many lives at Big Lakes Development Center and Women’s Health Group. She retired in June 2014 to travel with her husband to see family and friends she had made throughout her life. Dianna loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved boating time on the Lake each summer. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, golfing, Pickleball and traveling.

Dianna is survived by her husband, Gene Kingslien, of the home. She is also survived by her mother: Margaret Minson, Watertown, SD; and by three daughters: Jennifer Kingslien, Mount Joy, PA; Melissa (Matthew) Ranson, Topeka, KS; and Cassandra (Dustin) Bray of Fort Bliss, TX; and three grandchildren: Landry Fay Ranson, Morgan Glynden Ranson and Briley Anne Bray. Additional survivors include her two sisters: Sandra (James) Robbins, Florence, SD; and Katheryn (Rick) Lamoreaux of Watertown, SD.

Dianna is preceded in death by her father, Billy Minson.

The family will receive friends during a viewing and visitation from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan. Funeral services will follow at 5:30 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gil Cloud officiating. Dianna will be transported to Watertown, SD for a service and burial at the Oxford Cemetery, Thomas, SD.

A viewing and visitation at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown, South Dakota will be from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Her memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. The burial will follow at the Oxford Cemetery, Thomas, SD.
