Harry E. Willyard
Harry E. Willyard, age 71, of the Lake Elbo Community, died February 6, 2017, at his residence.
He was born March 9, 1945, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Elmer and Margaret (Trower) Willyard.
Harry graduated from Manhattan High School. He worked for 40 plus years at Kansas State University first in carpentry and later as a locksmith.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his yard, and was always keeping himself busy with assorted projects. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
On December 22, 1990, he was married to Lori L. Page. Lori survives of the home. Additional survivors include his two daughters: Trisha Capps and her husband Justin of Olathe, KS, and Traci Lewis and her husband Aaron of Manhattan; three grandchildren: Hana and Lila Lewis, and Teagan Capps; and three sisters: Jayne Metcalf (Jerry) of Edmond, OK, Joan Anneberg of Manhattan, and Jan Shaneyfelt (Dave) also of Edmond, OK.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and one son Rodney Willyard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Crestview Christian Church with Pastor Devin Wendt officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home.
